A david Brownstein film
About the Film
Set over the course of a single night in a Santa Monica music club in 1992, STARDUST follows Rebecca, a talented singer-songwriter on the verge of her big break. She’s counting on her unreliable boyfriend-manager to deliver a record label executive to her show—but as the night unravels, everything falls apart.
Her roommate announces she’s moving out, her bandmate doesn’t show, and by showtime, the promised industry connection is nowhere to be found, leaving Rebecca to face the stage—and her uncertain future—alone.
When she crosses paths with Tom, a gifted musician with whom she shares an immediate creative and personal spark, the two ignite the room with an impromptu, electric collaboration. After a fleeting but powerful connection, Tom offers her a chance to leave Los Angeles behind and start fresh.
By night’s end, Rebecca must decide whether to keep chasing the life she planned—or risk everything to follow the unknown road calling her forward.
